La Groumelle is a stunning and very authentic 18th Century Mas that sits nestled amongst its own vines in the Parc National du Luberon. With far reaching views to Menerbes behind and up the valley to the Petit Luberon in front, the luxury villa has been sympathetically restored to retain its unique Provencal charm incorporating all modern conveniences without sacrificing any of the character or architectural details. The house is a three minute drive or fifteen minute walk up to the outstandingly beautiful village of Menerbes and ideally located for exploring all that the Luberon has to offer.
The interior of the house oozes character whilst benefiting from modern comforts and amenities. Each of the 5 bedrooms in the house has its own unique character and is individually furnished with a mixture of contemporary soft furnishings and antiques sourced in Asia and local 'brocantes'. There are 3 principal suites and 2 twin bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are from The White Company.

Le Petit Salon is on the ground floor and is the more formal of the two salons complete with library and a vast stone fireplace, one of two working fireplaces at La Groumelle. On the first floor is Le Grand Salon arranged with comfortable sofas and chairs and a mezzanine level that houses the tv snug. Outside there are sofas and sun loungers on the terrace around the pool as well as deck chairs and day beds in shady nooks.
The house and its grounds offer multiple dining options. Inside there is a large farmhouse table in the kitchen while our atmospheric 'Cave' provides for meals with a really special ambience.
Outside there is a large antique stone table with spectacular views towards the Luberon and shaded by a Micocoulier tree. In the courtyard there is another stone table that offers a different ambience again, surrounded by stone walls, herbs and roses.
